Stone countertop fabrication process is complicated enough to worry about an uneven surface that ruins everything post production. The calibration wheel should always be used first to make sure that the thickness of the stone slab is as true as possible and to eliminate any humps or uneven bumps.

These wheels are designed to calibrate the stone and to make sure that the thickness of the surface is plain. They can also be used on calibrating a CNC stone table surface, where most of the work is done and where the cutting and edge profiling takes place. These tables need to be periodically replaced with new and the calibration wheels aids in making sure the surface is true before a countertop is fabricated.
