Seam Phantom SL3 Floating Turbo Wheels

The goal with the SL3 System was to make a universal quick change attachment system for stone fabricators and installers. Changing from general material removal tools to various polishing pads is now quick and easy. No more screwing and unscrewing Cup Wheels. No stopping to peel and replace Hook and Loop pads from a screw on backer.

You can change any SL3 item with a simple quarter turn. This system will save any fabricator time, effort, and money. Utilizing the same proven abrasive formula as the original Rigid Turbos, the Floating Turbos incorporate a color coded semi-rigid plastic laminate and utilize a Hook and Loop attachment. The plastic laminate keeps the abrasive rigid as it wears thin to yield a consistent flat polish and the Hook and Loop provides enough float to make them extremely forgiving in use. NSI utilizes these for all the flat edge polishing and top polishing.

These wheels attach to the 3" Center Hub Hook and Loop Backer which in turn locks securely into our standard SL3 Adapter. Buy a backer for every grit for the ultimate quick change polishing system. Available in 7 grits, from 60-3000.

Top Polishing
Floating Turbos are optimized for top polishing granite, quartz, marble, and any other type of stone. The Hook and Loop backer allows it to float while the semi-rigid laminate keeps it running smooth and flat. This makes for less chatter and reduces the skill needed to create a quality top polish, and the color coding allows easy grit identification.

Edge Polishing
The smooth-running characteristics of the floating turbos make them ideal for edge polishing. The Hook and Loop feature allows the Turbos to float  making them easy to control. The plastic laminate keeps the pad rigid to help avoid haziness, and the typical rippled  finish left by resin pads. These wheels make edge polishing easy for any fabricator. Many polishing pads produce a haze in the middle of an edge while polishing. Not Floating Turbos. The wheels always leave a consistent edge shine.
