ASTM International Committee Visits BBI And TN Marble Company.

On May 2nd and 3rd, BB Industries hosted members of the ASTM International Committee C18 on Dimension Stone. The group held meetings in the mornings and also had a chance to visit Tennessee Marble Company facilities and quarry in Friendsville, TN. Tennessee Marble Company (TMC) was formed in 1993 and extracts, as well as manufactures high quality dimensional stone for clients throughout North America. Everyone in attendance enjoyed breakfast with some hot coffee in the mornings. They were very appreciative of BBI for providing them the needed meeting space, as well as technical support to be able to hold virtual meetings for other members that were not able to attend in person. The group also toured BB Industries’ facility and had a chance to ask the staff questions.
